For seventy-seven years the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia (RAC) had internally produced a magazine for distribution to their members. In recent years readership levels and consequently advertising revenues had been in decline.
The reasons for this were traced to the increased level of competition for members reading time from improved and increased numbers of paid-for magazines. To win back lost readers the RAC had to significantly increase the relevance of the magazine to their members whilst transforming the quality of the editorial product. Following a nationwide tendering process Globe Publishing was appointed to publish a new magazine for the RAC. |
what the clients says...
“Deciding to overhaul our member magazine was a big decision for the RAC and a key part of that was finding the right contract publisher to help bring our vision to life. The magazine is circulated to more than 500,000 Western Australian households and is one of the key ways we communicate with our members, so we had to get the new look and feel just right.
Globe Publishing brought vision, experience and attention to detail to the project. And, most importantly, they offered a level of client service that we felt we could not get anywhere else. The result of our decision to work with Globe is a high quality magazine that is full of value for our members and a strong working relationship with Globe that will grow and deepen. We couldn't be happier”
